Bruno Fernandes says he will be ‘unhappy’ if he doesn’t ‘start, play all 90 minutes’ for Man Utd
Manchester United player Bruno Fernandes is “unhappy” when he does not start or play a full 90 minutes.
However, he added that he understands that players need to rest and Erik ten Hag is best placed to decide on that.

That means that United will contest another seven matches this month, with a further four Premier League matches to come, two ties against Barcelona in the Europa League and the League Cup final.
Despite that pile-up, Fernandes wants to play as many games as he can.
“I will be unhappy if I don’t start, if I don’t play games all 90 minutes, the manager knows that,” said Fernandes.
“I’m fully fit, I’m available for the team, and whatever I have to do it’s no problem. Not only me, but everyone wants to play a full 90 minutes every game.
“Obviously we all know that there are players that need more rest than others, but I feel good.
“I feel good but whenever the manager thinks he needs to rest me – like in the last game, I came off in the FA Cup – he will decide and I will accept because we have to be in the best form in every game and he has to decide what’s best for the team.”
Fernandes’ comments come after Ten Hag described the slew of options Manchester United have in several positions as a “luxury problem”.
“It’s a luxury problem but it’s how we wanted it,” said Ten Hag. “It’s normal at Manchester United to play every few days. Players prefer to play games than to train.”
Manchester United are next in action against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
