Thomas leads the GC ahead of Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) at 2″ and Ineos team-mate Tao Geoghegan Hart at 5″.

The trio are unlikely to be chasing the win on Stage 11, which features a few climbs but could be one for the sprinters to contest with a long descent into the finish in Tortona. A day for Mark Cavendish (Astana Qazaqstan), perhaps?
