Is Andy Murray seeded at Wimbledon? Who is the No. 1 men’s and women’s seeds at SW19? Is Nick Kyrgios seeded?
The seedings for Wimbledon have been released, but has Andy Murray been given one ahead of the tournament he has won twice in his career?
Murray has enjoyed a mixed start to his grass court campaign in 2023. He won back-to-back challenger titles at Surbiton and Nottingham which saw him rise up to No. 38 in the ATP rankings.

Instead, the two-time Wimbledon champion will compete at the Grand Slam with a wild card place. British No. 1 Cameron Norrie has been given the 12th seed and Dan Evans is No. 28.
At the very top of the men’s seedings, Carlos Alcaraz will take the No. 1 seed in the draw while Novak Djokovic, who has won seven Wimbledon singles titles in his career, is seeded as No. 2.
Although Nick Kyrgios has only played one competitive match this year, his performances in the second half of last year – notably reaching the Wimbledon final and the US Open quarter-finals, means he enters the Grand Slam seeded. He takes the No. 32 spot.
On the women’s side of the draw Iga Swiatek takes the No. 1 seed, although she will be looking to improve on her performances at SW19, having never gone beyond the fourth round.
Defending Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina is the No. 3 seed. Rybakina’s opponent in the final, Ons Jabeur, has been seeded No. 6.
Russian and Belarusian players will be able to compete at Wimbledon this year, meaning the likes of Daniil Medvedev, Aryna Sabalenka and Andrey Rublev will all be in action after a year away from the tournament.
