How each city is showing Taylor Swift love on the ‘Eras’ tour

Attention Swifties: The ‘Eras Tour’ Nashville shows have finally arrived!

Now, deep into her ongoing tour, Taylor Swift has given her “blood sweat and tears,” to bring fans a show unlike any other.

With nearly three shows at each of her stadium stops, it comes as no surprise that the cities Swift is performing in are welcoming her and her massive following in some big ways (literally).

As we wait with bated breath for the three-show Nashville weekend, we’ve rounded up some of the wildest ways Swift has been greeted — including Nashville —  where it all began for the celebrated singer.

  1. Glendale, AZ: “Swift City” has a nice ring to it don’t you think? That’s right. Glendale became no more during Taylor’s visit as the city was renamed in her honor. Arizona representative Analise Ortiz broke the news on TikTok , alerting fans that the change would be happening for the tour weekend. As expected, Swifties went crazy for the warm welcome and joined in on the name change fun across social media.
  2. Tampa, FL: Taylor Swift has been called a lot of things during her career, and now she can officially add Mayor Swift to that roster. According to Tampa Mayor Jane Castor they’ve “got a reputation to uphold‼️” Which is why the Mayor bestowed her title onto Ms.Swift on TikTok prior to her showing up for her Tampa performances.
  3. Houston, TX: You know what they say, go big or go home. Houston invited Taylor into their city with a little pre-construction. County Executive Lina Hildago unveiled some not-so-subtle changes that were made to the NRG Stadium via TikTok a couple days before Taylor touched down in Rocket City. The stadium can now be referred to by all Swifties as “NRG Stadium (Taylor’s Version).”
  4. Las Vegas, NV: “Cause now my name is up in lights,” — well, Taylor looks like you were right. Vegas shined bright leading up to their ‘Eras Tour’ concerts with the Gateway Arches sporting a stunning T.S. light show. Fans of the pop star loved the nod to the tour’s colors that illuminated the sky all weekend long.
  5. Nashville, TN: As we approach Taylor’s Nashville shows with high expectations, fans are patiently waiting to see if the city will put together an odes to the 12-time Grammy winner. So far the most notable welcome thus far has been the Country Hall of Fame’s surprise Taylor Swift ‘Eras’ pop-up running up until May 31. At the exhibit, fans can “ooh” and “ahh” at costumes from every era of the singer’s career.

And that’s just the beginning of the sprawling tour.

We can only begin to imagine how the rest of the cities still to come during the tour will top these massive displays of fandom.

However, as you contemplate what your city may do, don’t forget that it isn’t too late to find yourself a ticket to be a part of the glorious madness of the ‘Eras Tour.’
