Gisele B\u00fcndchen certainly wasn\u2019t moving at a glacial pace when she was doing a photo shoot in Iceland.<\/p>\n
The supermodel, 43, took the icy plunge and revealed a scary ordeal she experienced in 2000 during \u201cThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon\u201d on Thursday.<\/p>\nThe supermodel revealed her scary experience while doing a campaign in Iceland in 2000. The Tonight Show \/ NBCUniversal<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\u201cI did a photo shoot on a fake iceberg in Iceland, and I almost fell off into the ocean,\u201d she said during the \u201cTrue Confessions\u201d segment on the NBC talk show.<\/p>\nThe advertisement was for the fragrance Oxygene. Lanvin<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<\/aside>\nThe supermodel nearly fell into the freezing cold water and \u201cwould have been dead in seconds.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cSo the whole thing I was supposed to be in this slip dress while everyone was like in a boat \u2014 like, all the crew was in a boat with like huge puffer jackets and life vests,\u201d B\u00fcndchen recalled. <\/p>\n
B\u00fcndchen was participating in a campaign for the fragrance Oxygene at the time. <\/p>\n
B\u00fcndchen walked her last runway show after 20 years in 2015. As the face of brands like Chanel, Carolina Herrera and Louis Vuitton, she earned an estimated $386 million throughout her career, and continues to be featured on magazine covers.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think I am the farthest I have ever been from retiring. I\u2019ve never worked so hard in my life, actually,\u201d she said during an appearance on \u201cThe Ellen DeGeneres Show\u201d in 2018. \u201cI think I\u2019ll retire only the day I die. Because I love working, I love creating, I think that\u2019s why we\u2019re here to keep creating and expanding and learning.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cI did a photo shoot on a fake iceberg in Iceland, and I almost fell off into the ocean,\u201d she recalled. Lanvin<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nElsewhere in the interview Thursday, the Brazilian native opened about her new cookbook, Nourish: Simple Recipes to Empower Your Body and Feed Your Soul.<\/p>\n
The book is set to be published on March 26 and is chock-full of healthy recipes.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know, I love food. Yes, I really enjoy food. And I had all the playdates were always at my house,\u201d she explained to host Jimmy Fallon, 49.<\/p>\n
B\u00fcndchen shares kids Ben, 14, and Vivian, 11, with ex-husband Tom Brady, whom she divorced in 2022.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, all the kids, you know, the moms would come back and be like, \u2018How did you get my kid to eat vegetable?’\u201d she went on.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m like \u2018It\u2019s so easy, just, like, roast them.\u2019 She\u2019s like, \u2018How do you do that?\u2019 I start sharing recipes with moms and, you know, I have five sisters, so we always share recipes as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
It was then that one of her sisters suggested that she compile a cookbook of all of her favorite recipes to share with others. <\/p>\n
B\u00fcndchen loved the idea and continued to pursue the project. <\/p>\nThe mother of two also got candid about her new cookbook, \u201cNourish.\u201d The Tonight Show \/ NBCUniversal<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\u201cAnything that\u2019s good for me, that feels good, I want everyone to know and everyone to have it,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cSo that\u2019s kind of like my way of sharing nutritious, delicious, simple stuff, because I\u2019m not a chef,\u201d she added. \u201cI just want to eat good stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNourish\u201d includes dishes for recipes such as papaya-almond\u00a0smoothies, Brazilian cheese bread, carrot muffins and steak salad.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
