Sharon Osbourne defends Ozempic usage despite now weighing ‘under 100 lbs’: ‘I don’t regret it’

Sharon Osbourne doesn’t regret turning to the trendy drug Ozempic in a desperate bid to lose weight fast.

Appearing on the British daytime talk show “Loose Women” on Monday, the 71-year-old revealed that even though she’s lost more weight than she wanted to, she’s still standing by her decision.

“I don’t regret it,” she shared. “Everything with weight with me was, ‘I want it now.’ The injections that I was on worked, but it just seems that now I can’t put anything on really.”

Osbourne previously revealed that she lost a whopping 42 lbs after using the drug — but the weight loss turned out to be so extreme that she’s now unable to put on any weight.

“If I could, I’d put back another 10 [lbs],” she said. “I’m just an ordinary person who got lucky and I didn’t take advantage of that. I never want to forget that I am blessed and been really lucky in my life.”

Sharon turned to Hollywood’s favorite weight loss drug in Dec. 2022 and is still feeling the weight loss effects despite stopping it in April 2023.

Speaking in November, Osbourne — who previously revealed that husband Ozzy Osbourne doesn’t like her slimmed-down frame — said she doesn’t want to lose more weight after dropping below 100 lbs.

“I’m too gaunt, and I can’t put any weight on. I want to because I feel I’m too skinny. I’m under 100 pounds, and I don’t want to be,” the TV star admitted to the Daily Mail. “Be careful what you wish for.”

Osbourne explained that she started using the diabetes-turned-weight-loss medication over a year ago but has been “off it for a while now.”

“My warning is don’t give it to teenagers. It’s just too easy,” she cautioned at the time. “You can lose so much weight, and it’s easy to become addicted to that, which is very dangerous.”

“I couldn’t stop losing weight, and now I’ve lost 42 pounds and I can’t afford to lose anymore,” she added.

Osbourne previously admitted she “played the odds” when she turned to the drug in a desperate bid to lose weight.

In May, Sharon suffered numerous side effects after taking Ozempic for four months.

“I was very sick for a couple of months,” she shared on the UK’s “The Talk.” “The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever.”
