2023 Women’s World Cup fixtures and schedule – dates, venues and all you need to know for the tournament
The 2023 Women’s World Cup will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand across nine cities and 10 venues.
The action is set to kick off on July 20 with the defending champions USA bidding to win a hat-trick of world titles. But England start the tournament as one of the favourites after their unforgettable triumph at Euro 2022 and have been drawn in Group D alongside Haiti, Denmark and China.
In total, a record 32 teams will be battling it out to get their hands on the World Cup trophy.

The opening match on July 20 sees co-hosts New Zealand take on Norway in Auckland’s Eden Park with the final taking place exactly a month later at Stadium Australia in Sydney on 20 August.

The Women’s World Cup runs from July 20 to August 20.
When are England playing at the 2023 Women’s World Cup?
The Lionesses start their Group D campaign against Haiti on July 22 at Lang Park, Brisbane, in a 10:30am (GMT) kick-off.
They travel to Sydney Football Stadium for a match against Denmark on July 28 (kick-off 9:30am) followed by a match against China at Hindmarsh Stadium, Adelaide, at 11:00am (GMT).
