3 family members Marlene Lu, Ho Hua, Tu Nguyen killed by alleged drunk driver Dante Lennon after leaving Sweet 16

The three women who were killed by an alleged drunk driver after leaving a Sweet 16 party on Long Island on Saturday night were identified as the birthday girl’s grandmother and other relatives.

The teen’s grandmother, great aunt and older cousin died when 22-year-old Dante Lennon allegedly T-boned the livery car carrying them and three other passengers in New Hyde Park, Nassau County police said.

The 66-year-old grandmother Marlene Lu, 68-year-old great aunt Ho Hua and 41-year-old cousin Tu Nguyen were in the back seat of the Lincoln Town Car when Lennon allegedly slammed into it inside a Mercedes-Benz sedan at around 11:11 p.m.

The three women were pronounced dead at the scene. Lu and Hua live in Woodside, Queens, while Nguyen was in town for the Sweet 16 birthday party from North Carolina.

Three male passengers — ages 42, 67 and 73 — were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, according to police.

The group had called the livery car after attending the party at the Inn at New Hyde Park, a law enforcement source told the Post.  

Lennon was also injured in the crash and remains in the hospital.

He was arraigned at his hospital bed Monday on a slew of charges including three counts of manslaughter, three counts of vehicular manslaughter, driving while intoxicated, assault and vehicular assault. He pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to News 12.

Police said Freeport, Long Island resident’s blood-alcohol level was at .008 — just higher than the legal limit, the outlet reported.
