Watch Jordan Brown enjoy astonishing fluke at Championship League snooker: ‘The miracle of Christmas’
Jordan Brown produced the fluke of the day at the invitational Championship League on Wednesday during a 3-0 win over 2013 world finalist Barry Hawkins.
Brown attempted to nail a long red in the opening frame against Hawkins, missed it into a top pocket and watches as the red hits the white before sailing into the opposite pocket.

“The miracle of Christmas Jordan, that was some fluke,” says commentator Dave Hendon.
It was a pivotal moment as he progressed to produce a break of 75 before adding 56 and 112 to make a flying start to the day.
Brown watched opponent Matthew Selt run in knocks of 73, 69 and 111 in a 3-0 loss in his second match, but recovered strongly with a 3-0 success against Jamie Jones and a 3-1 win over Robert Milkins respectively – including four more 50-plus breaks – seeing him top the standings overnight.
Brown is a point clear of Ryan Day, Selt and Milkins. He meets Day and 2015 world champion Stuart Bingham on Thursday with the top four in the section contesting the semi-finals before the final concludes in the evening.
