Influencer Tammy Hembrow channels Kim Kardashian in viral photoshoot
Remember when Kim Kardashian famously “broke the internet” when she rested a glass of champagne on her butt?
Well, Aussie fitness mogul Tammy Hembrow has also caused quite a stir with her latest photoshoot to promote her app ‘Tammy Fit’.
The 28-year-old shared a behind-the-scenes clip of herself wearing a racy, metallic silver leotard that showed off her toned behind and a pair of matching platform heels.
She was seen on all fours, with one foot raised as she balanced a tray of oysters on the sole of her shoe.
“Not only is there a new challenge starting in jan @tammyhembrowfitness but we also have soo many new recipes coming to the app including my FAVE oyster mignonette,” she captioned the clip.
The video has already been viewed millions of times with fans likening it to Kim Kardashian’s Paper magazine cover shoot from back in 2014.
“This is better than the Kim K champagne shoot,” one follower commented.
“Tammy wins! over Kim K’s champagne butt,” another wrote, while a third said, “Giving Kim K champagne vibes.”
One fan described it as “weird”, but said it’s still “good advertising.”
“Photo shoot a bit over the top; buuuut you’re my fave fitness and mum influencer,” another fan wrote.
“WOW this is crazy!!!!” said a third, while a chef and food photographer described it as “unnecessarily extra”.
However, despite some expressing their dislike over the shoot, many backed the Gold Coast influencer, branding it “incredible.”
The mother-of-three — who has almost 16 million followers on Instagram — is not only the owner of a successful fitness app, but she also has her own activewear brand, Saski.
In September this year, Hembrow fronted the digital cover of Forbes Australia’s inaugural issue alongside her newborn daughter Posy Poole.
“Posy’s first Forbes shoot. @forbesaustralia first issue is out NOW. How special to be a part of this,” she wrote.
Hembrow, who has an estimated net worth of $38 million, told Forbes in the accompanying story that she’s “always had that entrepreneurial spirit”.
“From when I was young, I wanted to be my own boss. I could never see myself working underneath anyone else,” she said.
She said after the birth of her son Wolf in 2014, “I had a lot of people in my ear … saying, ‘Oh, your life will be over. Your body will never be the same.’”
She added, “And it just sort of made me want to share it even more to prove everyone wrong. I’m still going to be successful, I’m still going to be fit in the gym, I’m still going to have an amazing life. Just watch me.”
Hembrow was one of 10 Australian creators pegged by Forbes as part of the “new wave of entrepreneurs”.
