I planned my wedding for 2 years and hated every moment

A married woman has revealed that she hated her wedding day so much that she now offers tips to other brides-to-be so they don’t make the same mistakes that she did. 

Morgan Casper, who can be found on TikTok @morgangcasper, posted a video of herself with text over the top explaining why she had started making wedding content on the social media site. 

She wrote: “POV: You start posting on TikTok as therapy after your wedding because you’re still upset about hating the once in a lifetime event that you spent 2 years planning.

“But now you get to share your mistakes and tips with 60,000 AMAZING people.

“And you don’t spend time being upset about the day because you channel your feelings into creating content.”

Morgan then captioned the post, thanking her followers for following her and tuning into her videos.

Morgan, who shares videos on everything from how to choose your wedding dress to who to invite, tied the knot with her husband in September 2021. 

The big day was two years in the making after she got engaged, but Morgan has since come to regret many things, which she’s shared in a TikTok series. 

In one video, she explained: “Women are sold this idea that their wedding day is going to be the best day of their life.

“They’re going to have the most amount of fun, they’re going to feel the most beautiful, their husband and them are going to be so connected and they’re going to have the most amount of love surrounding them.

“How can any day possibly live up to that? The level of expectation that is placed on a day that is truly just 24 hours, like every other one, is bound to leave brides disappointed – and that was me.”

She then went on to say: “My advice to brides would be, ‘remember that it’s still just a day – it’s not this fairytale.

“Real life happens, real people happen and real problems happen.

“Keep your expectations reasonable and I think you’ll enjoy your day a lot more.”
