Mikaela Shiffrin looks poised to equal the legendary Ingemar Stenmark’s record of 86 World Cup wins after building a healthy lead after the first slalom at Spindleruv Mlyn.
The 27-year-old looks in great shape to claim her 12th World Cup win of the season after building a mighty 0.67 lead over Germany’s Lena Duerr. Croatian teenager Zrinka Ljutic was third, 0.85 adrift of the leader.
