Canada’s James Crawford surged to Super-G gold in a dramatic contest at the World Alpine Ski Championships in Courchevel. The 2022 Olympic bronze medallist edged out Norwegian favourite Aleksander Aamodt Kilde by one hundredth of a second in the French Alps to claim a first world championships medal of his career. Home favourite Alexis Pinturault grabbed bronze in a time of 1:07.48.
