The quarter-final line-up for the FA Cup will be complete on March 1 when there will be eight teams still in contention to win the trophy.

Blackburn, Brighton, Fulham, and Manchester City have already booked their places in the quarters after winning their ties on Tuesday evening, and Manchester United, Tottenham and West Ham are among sides also looking to progress.

When is the FA Cup quarter-final draw?

The quarter-final draw will take place after the last fifth-round tie between Sheffield United and Tottenham on Wednesday, March 1.

The match kicks off at 7.55pm GMT, after Southampton v Grimsby (7.15pm), Burnley v Fleetwood Town (7.30pm), and Manchester United v West Ham (7.45pm).

The draw will be shown live on the BBC and streamed live on FA Cup social media channels.

Who will be in the FA Cup quarter-final draw?

The four confirmed teams and eight potential other teams, and their draw numbers, in the quarter-final draw are:

  • 1 Southampton or Grimsby Town
  • 2 Blackburn Rovers
  • 3 Brighton & Hove Albion
  • 4 Sheffield United or Tottenham Hotspur
  • 5 Fulham
  • 6 Manchester City
  • 7 Manchester United or West Ham
  • 8 Burnley or Fleetwood Town

When are the FA Cup quarter-finals?

The quarter-finals will be staged across the weekend of Saturday, March 18.

The semi-finals take place on the weekend of Saturday, April 22 and the final is on Saturday, June 3.

Are there replays in the FA Cup quarter-finals?

There are no replays in the FA Cup this season from the fifth round onwards.

If any of the four remaining fifth-round ties are level after 90 minutes they will go to extra-time and then, if required, penalties.

That is the same for the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final.

The 2015/16 season was the last with FA Cup quarter-final replays.

Who are the favourites to win the FA Cup?

Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham are the three heavyweight teams remaining after defending champions Liverpool crashed out in the fourth round to Brighton.

Premier League sides Southampton, Brighton, West Ham and Fulham will also be hopeful of going further.

Manchester United have already won the Carabao Cup this season so could do a domestic cup double by winning the FA Cup.

United have not won the FA Cup since 2016, while Spurs are aiming to win their first trophy since 2008.
