Premier League: Brighton and Hove Albion smash West Ham, Aston Villa beat 10-man Crystal Palace
Brighton kept their slim hopes of a top-four finish alive as they demolished West Ham 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The south coast side hosted the Londoners, who did their target of Premier League survival no help as David Moyes’ side conceded three goals in the second half.
The home side went ahead on 18 minutes when Argentina international and 2022 World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister opened the scoring from the spot, adding another goal for the season – his seventh of his club campaign – and likely solidifying interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
