Bethenny Frankel’s former Soho pad relists for $500K less
A Soho pad that was once home to former reality TV star Bethenny Frankel, an original alum of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York,” is back on the market.
The second-floor pad, at 22 Mercer St. is asking $4.5 million, down from its $5 million ask last year.
The sellers bought it for $3.65 million in 2020, according to property records.
That sale was a significant loss for the Skinnygirl mogul and philanthropist, who had bought it for $4.2 million in 2014 during her contentious divorce from Jason Hoppy.
Frankel was also in the news this week, after she posted a salty video admitting to her followers that she had plastic surgery work done — but declined to go into detail, simply saying: “This is not all natural.”
The apartment, in Soho’s historic cast-iron district on a cobblestoned street, is 2,392 square feet and comes with two bedrooms and 2½ baths.
Details include a woodburning fireplace and a small, charming balcony — the only one of its kind in the building, the listing notes.
The condo opens with a an entry gallery that could showcase an art collection, leading to a 25-foot-wide great room boasting 14-foot-tall ceilings and three triple-paned arched windows framed in mahogany. There’s also an open chef’s kitchen, and a main bedroom with a custom walk-in closet and ensuite spa-like bath.
The smart-wired home also has sound proofed windows, exposed brick and surround sound. The 16-unit boutique condo features a common roof terrace.
The listing brokers are Leonard Steinberg, Hervé Senequier and Ami Mendizábal of Compass.
