World Snooker Championship 2023 qualifiers – Latest scores, results, schedule, order of play

The countdown to the 2023 World Snooker Championship has begun with the qualifying campaign kicking off in Sheffield.

Ahead of the main event at the Crucible Theatre, the field needs to be whittled down to 16 players, who will join the top 16 in the world rankings in the main draw on April 15.

Defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan is among those who await, as well as the likes of Judd Trump, Mark Selby, Neil Robertson and Mark Williams.

Before that, all eyes are on the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield for the intense qualifying campaign.

Format

  • Round one pits players ranked 81 to 112 against those seeded 113 to 144
  • In round two, those 32 winners will face players ranked 49-80
  • In round three, those 32 winners will face players ranked 17-48
  • In round four, those 32 winners play each other, with the 16 winners going through to the Crucible
  • All matched are best of 19 frames
