Pat Sajak tells Wheel of Fortune WWE contestant to remove his shirt
Don’t worry ab-out it, Pat.
During Friday’s “Wheel of Fortune” episode, host Pat Sajak told WWE star Austin Theory to take off his shirt in a moment that left fans reeling.
The episode concluded the WWE-themed week on the show, where contestants were partnered with pro wrestlers.
Pro Austin Theory was paired with a contestant named Ray Simon, and thought they had it in the bag — but when the winners were announced and the duo didn’t prevail, Theory began to fake cry.
This prompted Sajak to reassure him, “It’s gonna be fine, you did just fine. Earlier in the week, Ray won $24,850, another $5,000 tonight, $29,850.”
“Thank you, thank you, we could buy you a full shirt,” Ray joked to his partner Theory, who was wearing a black cropped tank top.
Sajak then chimed in, gesturing to Theory’s crop top as the wrestler flashed his rock-hard abs, “We’ll fill that in. We’re selling that on eBay, take it off.”
Theory tried to take off his shirt, something that Ray appeared to object.
The clip, which was posted to the game show’s official Instagram page, had some fans agreeing with Sajak.
“I need more Austin Theory in a crop top,” one user wrote. “NOW!!!!”
Another agreed, typing, “I love Austin Theory and him in a crop top makes perfect sense with my fantasy.”
However, a few were not happy with this week’s episodes.
“This week was awful. Please just don’t anymore,” one viewer snarked.
“Sorry did not like the shows this week!” another seconded.
This isn’t the first time this week that Sajak has had a viral on-camera moment with the WWE contestants. During Monday’s game, he scolded Tracina Jones and pro partner Drew McIntyre after Jones yelled out a NSFW answer.
During the episode, team Jones and McIntyre spun for a puzzle under the “Fun and Games” category when Jones yelled out: “Playing with balls?!”
In response, Sajak said, “Nope — still time.”
Players Mike Bozzuffi and Xavier Woods guessed the correct answer– “Playing with dolls.” By that time, Sajak had made his way over to them, telling Woods, “You’re trouble.”
“What did I do?” Woods responded with a chuckle.
Last month, Sajak jokingly put a contestant named Fred Jackson in a chokehold after he played a “perfect” game.
