Deion Patterson ID’d as suspected Atlanta hospital shooter

The alleged gunman accused of killing one person and injuring at least four others has been identified as 24-year-old Deion Patterson.

The suspect is believed to have a military background and had become agitated before opening fire inside Atlanta’s Northside Hospital Medical Midtown on Wednesday afternoon, sources told CNN.

Officials say he was visiting the hospital with his mother, who is cooperating with cops amid the manhunt for Patterson, who is to be considered “armed and dangerous.”

Police have released images of the shooter, clad in a hoodie and a surgical mask.
