Jamie Foxx responds to ‘pray for Jamie’ buzz amid health scare

Jamie Foxx has seemingly responded to fans’ prayers.

Three weeks into his hospitalization for mysterious “medical complications,” Foxx, whose legal name is Eric Marlon Bishop, took to Instagram to thank his loyal followers for their continuous support.

“Appreciate all the love!!!” read an Instagram post on the account for the “Back in Action” star, 55. “Feeling blessed.”

It was not clear, however, whether Foxx himself wrote and posted the message, or if a representative for the actor did so instead.

His viral proof of life gave fans a brief sigh of relief, with many showering the comments in heart emojis, or writing “So glad you’re with us.”

While close friend Martin Lawrence, 58, previously revealed that Foxx was on the road to recovery and “doing better,” it’s unclear what Foxx is currently battling as he remains in a Georgia hospital.

The social media post comes after Foxx’s fans were urged to “pray for Jamie” earlier Wednesday.

On April 12, his daughter Corinne, 29, announced that Foxx required emergency medical care, which was followed by reports of the singer being “awake and alert” a week later.

“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” Corinne wrote, in a message signed by “the Foxx family.”

“Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon implored his followers to speak “words of affirmation” for a “complete and total recovery for the most talented human on earth with a Spirit bigger than this small planet,” the 42-year-old star wrote online.

Actress Kerry Washington also posted in tribute to her “movie huzbin” that featured a series of throwback snaps of the pair.

In the “appreciation post,” the “Scandal” star, 46, addressed Foxx, saying she was “sending you all the love and prayers.”

What was Foxx working on before being rushed to the hospital?

Before going to the hospital, Foxx was working on the movie “Back in Action” with actress Cameron Diaz. While Foxx remains in the hospital, Diaz returned to the set to film scenes with Foxx’s body double.
