Arsenal plan massive contract offer to secure Declan Rice signing this summer – Paper Round
Arsenal to make huge salary offer for Rice
With the Mirror suggesting West Ham will soon have to sell Declan Rice to avoid losing him for nothing, they write that Arsenal will offer him a huge salary.
By giving him a deal paying almost a million pounds a month, the Londoners think they will sign him ahead of Chelsea and Manchester United.

“Rice, 24, is expected to leave the Hammers in the summer after expressing a desire to play Champions League football in the near future. A number of clubs have been linked with the midfielder in recent months, including Chelsea and Manchester United.
“Arsenal have already booked their spot in next season’s Champions League, which will interest Rice. He is unlikely to sign a new contract with West Ham, who could be forced to cash in on their prized asset before his existing deal expires in June 2025.
“His salary could quadruple to around £240,000-a-week.”
Villa boss Emery wants Tierney
That would reunite him with his former manager Unai Emery, but there could competition from Newcastle United and Manchester City.
“Aston Villa boss Unai Emery reportedly wants to sign left-back Kieran Tierney from Arsenal and reunite with the player he brought to the Emirates,” the report claims.
The former Celtic star has been limited to just five Premier League starts so far this season as Arsenal have mounted their most credible title challenge in more than a decade.
However, after a serious knee injury brought a premature end to Tierney’s season last campaign, Arsenal signed Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City.
Tierney has also attracted interest from title rivals Manchester City and Newcastle United.
Diallo set for another United exit
Amad Diallo has played well for Sunderland on loan from Manchester United this season, but the 20-year-old winger wants to go elsewhere.
After impressing in the Championship, he is looking at a loan spell abroad to help him develop.
“The 20-year-old has been a hit at Sunderland this term but word has gone out to find a club on the continent that may suit his style.
“Diallo is slight and a less physical league — such as in Holland — may help him develop.
“United want to keep Diallo for the long term and believe he has a big future at the club.
“Therefore, Red Devils officials would prefer a loan arrangement over a permanent move.”
Tottenham looking at huge cost for Nagelsmann
Daniel Levy may have to pay up to release Julian Nagelsmann from his contract at Bayern Munich.
While replaced by Thomas Tuchel, he has yet to be let go from his deal at the Allianz Arena.
“Nagelsmann remains the number one target of chairman Daniel Levy, having already been approached over the job, but will not consider an offer until he knows who will be Tottenham’s next director of football.
“The German was put on gardening leave by Bayern Munich and Telegraph Sport understands that will still be the case at the end of this season.
“Sources believe the compensation bill Bayern would be due for Nagelsmann could run past the £10 million mark and the 35-year-old was also on a big salary at Bayern, making him the most expensive option for Spurs and Levy.”
