French Open: Day 11 order of play and schedule – When are Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Holger Rune and Casper Ruud playing?

The quarter-final matches at the French Open will be concluded on Day 11.

Wednesday is set to be an exciting day with some of the biggest names in tennis going head-to-head as the women’s No. 1 Iga Swiatek takes on sixth seed Coco Gauff in a repeat of last year’s final, while Holger Rune and Casper Ruud meet in a battle between two Scandinavian stars.

The seventh seed Ons Jabeur also meets 14th seed Beatriz Haddad Maia for a place in the semi-finals.

Top men’s match – Holger Rune v Casper Ruud

The evening match on Chatrier will see an exciting encounter between two young Scandinavians, as Rune meets Ruud.

Rune – who has been tipped to win Grand Slams tournament in the future by Eurosport expert Mats Wilander – reached the quarter-finals in Paris for a second consecutive year after a dramatic five-set win against in-form Francisco Cerundolo.
The Dane, 20, will be out for revenge after Ruud won a heated four-set contest between the pair at the same stage last year.
Ruud went some way to silence his critics after some poor performances with a hard-fought fourth-round victory over Nicolas Jarry in what is a much-needed morale boost ahead of this crunch match.

Top women’s match – Iga Swiatek v Coco Gauff

A mouthwatering match is in store as Swiatek continues her defence of Roland-Garros with a last eight encounter with Gauff in a rematch of last year’s final.

Swiatek has been beating opponents ruthlessly in Paris, dropping just nine games in her four matches so far, and sealed her place in the quarter-finals after her last opponent Lesia Tsurenko retired during the first set through illness.
Gauff, meanwhile, has yet to convince at the French Open and had to face some difficult moments in her 7-5 6-2 win over 100th-ranked Anna Karolina Schmiedlova.

The American is going to have to improve her level of performance if she’s to exact revenge on the Polish star.
