Michael Bublé reveals why a fan’s tattoo of him eating corn ‘moved’ him

Canadian pop star and “certified hunk” Michael Bublé, has revealed why a fan’s “phallic” tattoo of himself dominates all other love letters he‘s received from his admirers.

A dedicated follower of the five-time Grammy award winner has inked a photo of Bublé eating corn on the cob on their body, which the singer claims really “moved” him.

“I went to Disney (Land) and was eating corn on the cob the wrong way, apparently most people don’t eat it from the top,” he told The Project on Wednesday night, referring to a photo of the situation.

“But that was the closest thing to a real love note that I’ve ever had and it was sexy and phallic and I felt like people made fun of me but part of it was jealousy because I just think they wish they could take it as deep as I did.”

Bublé shared the story after host Sam Taunton asked him about the release of his new perfume Love Note, which he came on the show to discuss.

The release of his sixth perfume comes after the singer kicked off his fragrance line in 2016 with his only inspiration being he “wanted money.”

Since launching into the fragrance industry, Bublé has found the experience to be “quite fun”, with the Canadian Crooner satisfied that he’s experienced similar successes to Dolly Parton, Ariana Grande, and Rihanna.

“I feel like I‘m in an echelon where I finally deserve to be,” he said.

Asked what he smelled like, Bublé replied that he “smells like booze.”

Bublé also delved into his family life, with comedian Nick Cody asking for some personal advice about whether he and his partner should have a third child.

“I’m on the fence. I‘m leaving it up to you, the king of romance, Michael Bublé, what do I do?” he asked.

“Well don’t wear a condom because it doesn’t work,” Bublé responded before providing a more heartfelt answer.

“For me personally, there is nothing that is negative about meeting the next ones, they’re the greatest thing that ever happens to you,” he said.

“Nah they’re the best, do it … You’ll never in your life ever look back on your life and say, ‘I wish I hadn‘t met this little girl or this little boy.

“They are the greatest things ever. They are my joy and, you know, the truth is they let me just laugh at life and laugh at myself and it really puts life in perspective.”

Bublé and his family are currently in Australia for the singer’s Higher tour, which commenced on June 1.

The singer has done a few media interviews to promote his tour, however, there was one trend the Canadians found quite peculiar.

“This isn’t a joke – two of the journalists brought me hats from the chicken – what do they call the chicken places? Char Grill Charlie‘s and Chookas. I felt like they looked at me and said, ‘this looks like a chicken guy’,” he said.

The comment came after Tauton found a cardboard cutout of Bublé at Schnitz, which he claimed he saw a woman “hugging.”

Bublé will remain in New South Wales until the weekend to finish his Qudos Bank Arena stint on the tour before flying to Adelaide for a performance next Tuesday night.

On June 16 and 17, he will be in Melbourne to entertain fans at Rod Laver Arena before concluding his Australian tour in Brisbane on Wednesday, June 21.
