Adam DeVine says he witnessed man get ‘gunned down’ outside his home

Actor Adam DeVine revealed the chilling moment he and his wife Chloe Bridges saw a man “gunned down” outside their plush $2.6 million Hollywood mansion.

Appearing at a live taping of “This Is Important” podcast Wednesday night, the “Pitch Perfect” star, 39, recalled seeing a man shot to death from across the road.

“This is a true scary thing that just happened. So across the street they were running this like crazy poker game, right?” DeVine told hosts Blake Anderson, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck.

“People were rolling up in like Lamborghini’s and Bentley’s and Rolls Royce’s and s–t and like old guys, who for sure f–k prostitutes and play cards,” he continued, according to footage obtained by Daily Mail.

“And I see these dudes and it’s like fun to sit and watch, [so] me and my wife, we’re sitting up on our balcony, and like, this looks crazy.”

Warning the audience that “this is where it gets sad,” DeVine recollected when the man, later identified as 39-year-old Emil Lahaziel, suffered multiple gunshot wounds at around 2 a.m.

“Someone was murdered there,” “The Intern” actor said, adding, “Someone was murdered.”

“Yeah dude, I called that s–t I called that s–t. I was like ‘this is dastardly s–t going down here and sure enough someone is gunned down,” he said.

The podcast hosts appeared to be taken aback by DeVine’s recollection, with Newacheck calling the situation sad,” before Holm added, “Yeah a real person, no longer with us.”

“Yeah but, that happens, people be dying,” DeVine added. “This isn’t Hollywood, this is a story about my actual life.”

DeVine lives opposite the house where Lahaziel succumbed to his injuries Wednesday morning.

The ordeal escalated after Lahaziel was embroiled in a heated exchange with another man in the driveway.

The unidentified man pulled out a handgun and shot Lahaziel multiple times, the Los Angeles Times reports.

LAPD officers performed CPR on Lahaziel upon arrival, the outlet adds, however, he died on the scene.

Police told the outlet that the shooting is not believed to be gang-related while the gunman is at large as of Thursday morning.
