Arsenal
Aston Villa
With Unai Emery having shown his ability after arriving mid-season, his late push for Europe has earned him the chance to kick on.
Joao Felix might be an option if his wages are not prohibitively high, but it depends if Atletico Madrid are willing to strike a deal. Youri Tielemans’ arrival might blunt any interest in James Ward-Prowse, but Joao Palhinha could be available from Fulham.
Kieran Tierney, Dusan Vlahovic and Pedro Goncalves are all reflections of renewed ambition at Villa Park for next season.
Bournemouth
There are some less obvious names in the mix too, including FC Cincinnati’s Brandon Vazquez, and Torino’s Alessandro Buongiorno.

Brentford
Caoimhin Kelleher has big-club experience at Liverpool and could cost around £20m, while Nottingham Forest’s Keylor Navas would probably be a talented bargain who is now used to Premier League football.
Brighton
Like Brentford, Brighton have their own transfer market expertise. They, too, are linked with Caoimhin Kelleher, and have also been linked with right-back Sacha Boey at Galatasary.
Two potential bargains are Carlos Alcaraz and Mohammed Salisu, who could be sold by Southampton as they look to lessen the financial damage done by their relegation.
Burnley
With Vincent Kompany in charge in the Premier League for the first season, and given Burnley’s impressive performances last year in the Championship, the Belgian manager might look to his old team, Manchester City, for some loans.
City’s Sergio Gomez is one player in the frame, while some other big-name youngsters elsewhere, like Chelsea’s Carney Chukwuemeka and Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson, have been mentioned. More established names like Charles De Ketelaere and Kieran Tierney would likely cost more money.
Chelsea
Sell them, sell them all! Chelsea’s squad is far too big and that’s not even taking into consideration the players out on loan. The squad has to be trimmed first then new manager Mauricio Pochettino can focus on signings.

Crystal Palace
With Roy Hodgson likely to stay on for another year, the focus could be on the former England boss looking to the short term to keep the team in the Premier League at least for another year before he moves on to a permanent retirement.
Everton
Everton may also look to add to the squad in defence, while they will likely hope to sell Dele Alli, Andre Gomes and Jean-Philippe Gbamin, who were all out on loan last season, to raise funds.
Fulham
Marco Silva will be hopeful of keeping key players Joao Palhinha and Aleksandar Mitrovic, as well as adding to the defence, with Fiorentina defender Igor touted as a possible addition. There are also questions over wingers Willian, who is out of contract this month, and Manor Solomon, who Fulham are reportedly keen to sign after a loan spell from Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk. Fulham have also been linked with a loan return for Liverpool’s Fabio Carvalho and a move for Everton’s Demarai Gray.

Luton Town
Luton may be tempted into something that Nottingham Forest attempted last year, with no little success. Forest were able to stay up by recruiting an entirely new set of players for the Premier League, while keeping their best performers from the promotion-winning side.
For Luton, that means that 20-goal man Carlton Morris could be retained up front, and Welsh central defender Tom Lockyer may also be kept for the next campaign, with a select few others kept on.

Nottingham Forest
One would expect that Forest are less busy than they were last season. Their obvious No. 1 target between the sticks would be Dean Henderson of Manchester United, who is now no longer really mentioned as the successor to David de Gea at Old Trafford.
Expect to see a bit of a clearout of the names from the promotion-winning season, and those who came in last year who failed to make an impact. However, in terms of bringing players in, Callum Hudson-Odoi may want to get back to England after a loan spell with Bayer Leverkusen, as could Romain Saiss at Besiktas. Batista Mendy at Angers is a potential bargain, as is Lassana Coulibaly of Salernitana.
Sheffield United
Two ambitious names in the frame are former players Kyle Walker and Harry Maguire, who may have had their time at their respective Manchester clubs. Carney Chukwuemeka is a potential loan, while Glen Kamara could be back in the Premier League having made his debut for Arsenal in 2015 in the League Cup, and is now a stalwart at Rangers.
Tottenham Hotspur
The first thing to do is going to be to figure out what they are doing with Harry Kane. If he’s gone, then find a replacement. If he’s going to see out the last year of his contract, then there needs to be a succession plan in place. The other big area of need is goalkeeper, with Brentford goalkeeper David Raya reportedly close to joining although the fee still seems to be an issue.

West Ham
Perhaps the biggest question at West Ham is not whether one player comes or goes, but whether David Moyes is the manager next season.
West Ham’s owners can be alternately prolific and parsimonious, and it often seems like they have a scattergun approach to recruitment.
So the question is when – not if – captain Declan Rice moves on, how much influence and money will Moyes be given to find a replacement and look to build on next year. They arguably need to recruit in every and any position to stand a better chance next year, but a goalscorer would be essential.
Wolverhampton Wanderers
Keeping Lopetegui should be a priority while Viktor Gyokeres is once again mentioned and Southampton’s relegated James Ward-Prowse might be considered a replacement for Ruben Neves or Joao Moutinho. Real Madrid’s Mariano Diaz would perhaps be an option on a free transfer if he is not snapped up by a bigger club.
