Wimbledon 2023: Day 4 Order of Play and schedule – When is Andy Murray on court? When does Casper Ruud play?

Andy Murray, Elena Rybakina and Casper Ruud are just some of the names in action on day four at Wimbledon 2023.

Two-time men’s champion Murray will be on third at Centre Court while Ruud plays Briton Liam Broady first up.

Men’s world No. 19 Alexander Zverev comes up against Gijs Brouwer on No. 1 Court.

Women’s world No. 3 and defending champion Rybakina will also be looking to reach the third round as she meets France’s Alize Cornet.

Top men’s match – Andy Murray vs. Stefanos Tsitsipas

Stefanos Tsitsipas has never got past the fourth round at Wimbledon and the Greek player, ranked No. 5 in the world at the moment, had one of the toughest first-round takes to negotiate.

He had to endure three tie-breaks and five sets as he defeated the talented Austrian Dominic Thiem.

Murray meanwhile is a two-time winner at SW19 but in recent years he has struggled for form and fitness after extensive hip surgery.

Two grass court titles in the build-up to this year’s Wimbledon has left him feeling confident, but he may not make it past Tsitsipas.

Top women’s match – Alize Cornet v Elena Rybakina

Rybakina might be ranked No. 3 in the world but many would consider her the favourite given she has already succeeded on grass before, and is the reigning champion at Wimbledon.

The 24-year-old Kazakhstani player will be aiming to get through to the third round and she is the overwhelming favourite against her experienced opponent.

Aged 33, Cornet is one of the older players on the tour and has 20 years professional experience.

But for all those years on the circuit she has never progressed past the quarter-finals of any Grand Slam and her best performance at Wimbledon is a fourth round exit, last year and in 2014.

There are four Brits in action on Thursday in the singles draws.

As well as Murray and Broady, Katie Boulter will play Viktoriya Tomova on Court 12 as the third match.

Jan Choinski is first up on Court 18 against Hubert Hurkacz.
