Catfight forces Frontier flight to make emergency landing

A Frontier Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Las Vegas was forced to divert to Denver because of a foul-mouthed, caught-on-video catfight between two women.

Flight 2143 was en route to Vegas on Tuesday night when the two women, who were traveling together, began fighting and hurling loud expletives at each other in front of shocked fellow passengers, KSNT reported.

It was unclear what sparked the brawl between the two unhinged women, who are seen going at each other and even confronting the cabin crew in cell phone video captured by a Las Vegas woman retuning home after a vacation.

The passenger, who asked not to be named, told the news outlet that a flight attendant tried several times to stop the fight before finally separating the women and moving one to a different seat.

But they apparently remained undeterred.

The women continued to shout at each other and hurl expletives even after being separated, the passenger told KLAS.

At one point, one of the women apparently struck a male passenger on or near his head as she stormed off to the lavatory.

“It was fairly disruptive, so passengers began to tell them to ‘shut up’ because their behavior was escalating,” the woman told the news station.

One person can be heard telling the women to “get some class,” which only further enrages them.

“Just get your s— together so we can get home,” a passenger is heard saying.

”You’re gonna go to jail … who are you trying to impress?” another passenger can be heard yelling.

The flight made an emergency landing at Denver International Airport, where the women were escorted off the plane to cheers and applause.

Several other passengers gave a statement to police, the woman who shot the video said.

Police also reportedly contacted the FBI. It was not immediately clear whether the women, who have not been identified, face criminal charges.

“Luckily the Vegas-based Frontier crew was great,” said the woman, who praising the crew for how it handled the situation.

The flight ended up being delayed by about an hour, Frontier spokesperson Michael Konopasek told KSNT.
