Andy Cohen shocks fans, shares sexual preferences
He didn’t plead the fifth.
Andy Cohen, 55, divulged some randy details about his sex life on Isaac Mizrahi’s “Hello Isaac” podcast this week — including how he prefers to get intimate.
“Asking for a friend, are you a top or bottom?” Mizrahi, 61, questions the Bravo honcho in a clip of the podcast posted to Instagram.
“I’m a top,” Cohen quickly replied.
“You’re a top?!” Mizrahi replied in shock. “Well, that was really an easy answer for you.”
Cohen admitted that he had the answer “readily available” for the fashion designer.
“I wish that I could … I need to loosen up, as they say,” Cohen added.
According to the outlet Them, “a top prefers to be in control, often interpreted as preferring to penetrate” during queer sex, while a “bottom” is someone who “wants to relinquish some kind of control, often interpreted as wanting to be penetrated.”
The Post reached out to Cohen’s representatives for comment.
In the comments section of the snippet posted to Instagram, Cohen seemed to find some humor in it all.
“This clip! 😮😮😂😂😂😂😂” he wrote.
It’s unclear if Cohen is dating anyone, but during a June appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show,” he admitted that he was “in love” with singer and close friend John Mayer.
“I am in love with John Mayer,” he told the radio host. “We are in love with each other.”
However, their love is definitely a platonic one, as Stern made Cohen “promise” that there has never been anything sexual between the two of them.
“Yes. I do. I swear,” Cohen said, swearing on the lives of his children, Ben, 4, and Lucy, 1.
“The Daddy Diaries” author also joked about “good threesomes” with his good friend Anderson Cooper during a May appearance on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show “Sherri.”
The last man Cohen was publicly linked to was Dr. Clifton Dassuncao, an epidemiologist Cohen was seen vacationing with in 2016.
Cohen opened up about that relationship during a May episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, per Heavy.
“I haven’t had a lot of long-term relationships,” Cohen admitted to podcast host Amanda Hirsch. “And my last relationship, it was a few years, and it was, maybe ended five years ago.”
He explained that his boyfriend’s identity leaked out after one of his friends posted a group picture and tagged Dassuncao.
“And the Daily Mail saw it and then did like, Instagram journalism and figured out that he and I had been in the same places a lot, and they busted him wide open,” Cohen continued.
