Bayern Munich plan Tuesday meeting amid four Harry Kane options, Man Utd and Chelsea plot more transfers – Paper Round

Bayern’s four Kane options

Bayern Munich will hold a meeting on Tuesday to discuss whether they should continue to pursue Harry Kane this summer or look at other options, the Independent reports. With Bayern £10m short of what Tottenham would accept, Kane wants his future to be resolved before the Premier League starts this weekend, and that could all depend on Bayern’s decision on Tuesday.

The Independent adds: “All parties are now effectively conditioned by Kane’s own deadline, although Bayern themselves want any deal in place before this weekend’s German Super Cup against Leipzig.

“The Bundesliga champions have four options available to them, all of which will be discussed over Tuesday. One is another bid, although it remains to be seen whether they would go high enough to match Levy’s demands.

“The second is waiting until January, when they could well get Kane for a knock-down price, in a similar manner to Christian Eriksen’s exit for Internazionale in January 2020. A third is negotiating a pre-contract once Bosman rules allow at that point. A fourth, currently being mooted, is acting on longstanding interest in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani.”

Poch wants four more

Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino is hoping for four more arrivals before the summer transfer window closes, the Daily Mail reports. The Blues are expected to sign Leeds United’s Tyler Adams, with offers also being worked on for Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise and Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, meanwhile, is eager for a move to Chelsea amid reports a fresh bid has been made for the midfielder.

The Mail adds: “Chelsea, of course, have to meet Brighton’s £105m valuation for Caicedo but Adams is a more straight-forward release clause of around £20million.

“Palace have not been happy about Chelsea’s approach for Olise, who is also on City’s radar, but Palace want Chelsea left-back Lewis Hall on loan. Brighton say they expect Caicedo to start their opening game.”

Man Utd want two more signings

Manchester United will prioritise Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat and signing a centre-half if several sales go through, the Independent reports. Despite rejecting West Ham’s £60m double offer for Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay, talks between the two clubs are expected to continue, while Everton are also monitoring Maguire.

The Independent adds: “With the possibility of further moves for Donny van de Beek and Fred – likely to Galatasaray – United would step up interest in Amrabat.

“A fee would still have to be agreed with Fiorentina, though, and Ten Hag has been considering a move for Romeo Lavia should that deal fall through.”

Saints want £50m for Lavia

Liverpool must meet Southampton’s £50m valuation for Romeo Lavia after a third offer totalling £45m was rejected, the Guardian reports. Liverpool are expected to make a fourth bid, which should meet the demands of Southampton, who named Lavia on the bench for their opening Championship match against Sheffield Wednesday on Friday. Lavia signed for Southampton from Manchester City for £10.5m last summer.

The Guardian adds: “The Championship club are determined to hold out for £50m for the 19-year-old Belgium midfielder. Lavia, also admired by Chelsea, is a key target for Liverpool as they continue to rebuild their midfield after the departures of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to Saudi Arabia.”
