King Charles would want to meet grandchildren Archie, Lilibet on 75th birthday: expert

King Charles wants to finally hug his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet for the first time on his birthday in November, according to a royal expert.

“Charles would want Harry and Meghan’s children there,” royal biographer and expert Angela Levin told the Sun. “If Harry and Meghan want to make an excuse, that’s their decision.”

Tensions reached an all-time high in the inner circle due to conflict between the royal family and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, meaning that their kids have yet to meet their grandfather.

Levin claimed that the Montecito-based couple will also want to attend the King’s birthday celebrations in the UK, adding that she doesn’t see why Markle wouldn’t be invited.

It’s still unclear, however, whether or not a reunion between the Sussexes and the Firm is on the cards at this time, especially since Markle didn’t attend Charles’ coronation in May.

Harry famously jetted across the pond solo, and even though he attended his dad and stepmother’s ceremony, his trip was as brief as it could be.

His short stint of 28 hours on home soil reportedly left his family wondering why he even bothered to come at all.

It was the first time he has seen his father since he released his bombshell memoir, “Spare,” in January.

At the ceremony, the duke was snubbed via his seating arrangement — having been relegated to the third row in between Princess Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank, and Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin Princess Alexandra.

And more recently, the pair were reportedly snubbed of an invite to the Royal Family’s gathering marking one year since the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not received invitations to the intimate event at Balmoral Castle on Sept. 8 — despite being in Europe for the Invictus Games the following day, according to reports.

The exiled royals are set to touchdown in Düsseldorf, Germany just 24 hours after the royals meet in Balmoral, but a source told the Sun that there “hasn’t been any outreach to them.”

The pair’s trip to Germany will mark their first joint European appearance since the late monarch’s funeral on Sept. 19, 2022.
