Dennis McCann says he wants to “make a big statement” when he goes toe-to-toe with Ionut Baluta for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental super-bantamweight title on Friday, August 17, live on TNT Sports.
McCann, 14-0, will put his undefeated record on the line when he takes on Baluta in the headline event at London’s York Hall in what is set to be his toughest match to date.
The 22-year-old has delivered two stoppage wins in a row and is looking for a third but comes up against a man he knows well having sparred him many times.
In an exclusive interview with former world champion Carl Frampton for TNT Sports, McCann was in confident mood.
