Mathias Fluckiger won the UCI Cross-country Olympic World Cup men’s race in Pal Arinsal, Andorra, with Great Britain’s Tom Pidcock third.

In difficult conditions, Switzerland’s Fluckiger proved a cut above the rest as he held off France’s Thomas Griot, who had threatened a charge on the final lap before fading.
