Sergio Brown appears to mock missing person’s report in new video

Missing ex-NFL player Sergio Brown appeared to mock reports of his disappearance in a second bizarre video days after his mother was found murdered in Illinois.

Brown, 35, delivered an unhinged rant that referenced the 2003 children’s film “Finding Nemo” on his apparent burner Instagram account intplayerwithapassport, while also appearing to reference a missing persons report that was filed by family members on Saturday.

“Just keep swimming, just keep swimming,” he said, repeating a mantra made famous by Ellen DeGeneres’ character Dory in the movie.

“What the f–k? Missing? They ain’t never seen ‘Finding Nemo’? What the f–k is going on? This is traumatic. Lucky I don’t have to say a joke. You… what the f–k? Just keep swimming,” he said before breaking into maniacal laughter.

The former free safety and his mother Myrtle Brown, 73, were both reported missing, resulting in a search of suburban Maywood, Ill. that turned up her body near a creek behind her home.

Sergio was not considered a suspect in Myrtle’s homicide, police said. She died from “multiple injuries tied to an assault,” according to the medical examiner.

Earlier Tuesday he had posted an incoherent clip that called his mother’s killing “fake news” tagged with a location of Mexico City, according to Deadspin.

The post was quickly deleted and reposted without the location, according to the report.

“It had to be the FBI or the Maywood Police. I thought my f–king mama was on vacation in Sinaloa. That’s f–king fake news, get the f–k out my goddamn of my face.

“She’s retired… the FBI had to do it, they have the power to do shit like that. What the f–k is going on? That’s fake news. Don’t come f–king with me,” he ranted over loud music blaring in the background.

A Maywood Police Department spokesperson told The Post Tuesday that they were investigating the clip and still considered the former Indianapolis Colt and New England Patriot to be a missing person.

A representative for Brown declined to comment.

Carlos Cortez, a next-door neighbor of the Browns, said he last saw Sergio and Myrtle together on Thursday, but noted that Sergio had been acting out of character for months, according to WBBM.

“They said he wasn’t himself the last few months. He was out of his mind,” Cortez said of Brown’s family members.

The neighbor had reportedly provided police with security footage from his Ring doorbell camera that depicted the retired baller having a bonfire with his late mother’s close.

“Myrtle, she was an outstanding woman, and I’m hoping she’s in the right place and I hope she’s with God. … I never would’ve expected this in a million years,” Cortez told the outlet.

As Sergio’s whereabouts remained unverified, his brother Nick had pleaded with him to come home in a Monday Facebook post.

“It’s a sad but hopeful time, and we will all get through this together. Mom always told me, “tough times don’t last” and our last conversation about tough times being temporary is my beacon of hope,” Nick wrote.

“Mom, thank you for being strong, caring, diligent, fancy, funny, and for saving my art. I won’t let you down.

“My brother Sergio is still missing. If anyone knows where he is I want him to know that I love you and please come home.”

Neither the Maywood Police Department nor Sergio’s rep had immediately responded to a second request for comment Wednesday morning.
