Alyssa Farah Griffin makes ‘pretty violent’ blunder on ‘The View’

Mistakes cut deep on “The View.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin learned that the hard way Wednesday while the co-hosts of the daytime talk show discussed the pair of “mummified alien” corpses unveiled in Mexico last week.

“A prosecutor in Peru says these are not real and that they may be manufactured dolls,” Griffin, 34, read from her self-written notecard.

“You think?” Joy Behar, 80, butted in.

“It seems like it may be paper mach… machete or something,” Griffin added, stumbling over her words.

“Paper mâché,” Behar confirmed as Sara Haines, 46, burst into laughter and Whoopi Goldberg, 67, put her head into her hands.

“I can’t read my own notes,” Griffin admitted. “It’s spelled like machete.”

Haines quipped, “That went from artwork to pretty violent.”

“The View” has been airing without its two staff writers represented by the Writers Guild of America, which has been on strike since May.

Also Wednesday, Goldberg alluded to missing the show’s writers after she didn’t have the correct information on her notecard.

“This is what happens when we don’t have, like, adults in charge,” the EGOT winner claimed.

“When we don’t have writers,” Behar stated the obvious.

“Well, that’s what I mean. You know, she likes to correct me. She’s all over me today, all over me,” Goldberg said of Behar.

“You’re the one who corrected me,” Behar retorted.

“I didn’t correct you! How did I correct you?” Goldberg asked the fiery redhead.

“You told me to get back to the topic,” she fired back while Sunny Hostin, 54, added, “You said she was extrapolating.”

Goldberg, the show’s moderator, then informed her fellow co-hosts that she had “gotten notes from the other adults that sometimes I could do a little more to keep y’all on track.”

“Good luck,” Griffin quipped as the panel laughed.
