The “Euphoria” star, who was born Conor Angus Cloud Hickey, was found dead at his family’s home in Oakland, California, where he was discovered by his mother.

“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” read a statement from Cloud’s family. “As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”

According to the statement, the actor was still grieving the loss of his father, Conor Hickey, who died after a brief cancer battle.

“Euphoria” star Angus Cloud, who died at the age of 25 in July, reportedly passed away after consuming a combination of fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine in what’s being ruled as an accidental overdose.

“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend,” continued the statement.

At the time of Cloud’s passing, the family did not reveal what happened to him but claimed the young man struggled with his mental health.

“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence,” the statement read. “We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter, and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”

The Oakland Fire Department told The Post they responded to Cloud’s home around 11:30 a.m. for a medical emergency.

A spokesperson revealed that Cloud was pronounced dead at the scene.

TMZ later reported that his mother, Lisa Hickey, had called authorities to report a “possible overdose.”

Since the actor’s death, celebrities including his “Euphoria” co-star Zendaya, have posted tributes.

“Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus,” 26-year-old Zendaya, who also went to the same high school as Cloud, captioned a photo of Cloud.

“I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it) I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love … ‘they could light up any room they entered’ but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment.”

Their co-star Sydney Sweeney also mourned her late friend in an Instagram post.

“Angus you were an open soul, with the kindest heart, and you filled every room with laughter,” wrote Sweeney, 26.

“This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to post, and I’m struggling to find all the words,” she continued. “You will be missed more than you know, but I’m so blessed to have known you in this lifetime, and I’m sure everyone who has ever met you feels the same. This heartache is real and I wish we could’ve had one more hug and 711 run. All my love is with you.”

Born on July 10, 1998, Cloud was cast on “Euphoria” after an employee of famed casting director Jennifer Venditti saw him walking down a street in Manhattan and approached him about auditioning for the HBO show.

“She asked me if I would be down to do an audition, but she didn’t exactly say what it was for. I thought it was some type of scam,” Cloud told the Wall Street Journal in 2019. He appeared in both seasons of the show.

In February 2022, he confessed to Interview magazine that he struggled with the exposure that comes with being a public figure.

“People knowing me and recognizing who I am. That s—t f—ks with my mind for sure,” Cloud said. “I’d rather people didn’t recognize me. I’m not mad at them because they do, but I’d rather they didn’t. I just want to have regular interactions with people. I don’t want to be treated special.”

Cloud admitted to Variety in August 2022 that he got frustrated when people would assume that he was the same as his drug dealer character in real life.

“It does bother me … when people are like, ‘It must be so easy! You get to go in and be yourself.’ I’m like, ‘Why don’t you go and do that?’ It’s not that simple. I brought a lot to the character. You can believe what you want. It ain’t got nothing to do with me.”

Cloud also appeared on a 2019 episode of “The Perfect Women” and in music videos for artists Noah Cyrus, Becky G & Karol G, and Juice WRLD.

Since the HBO star's death several celebrities including his co-star and classmate Zendaya, posted tribute to the late actor.

An HBO spokesperson told The Post, “We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and ‘Euphoria’ family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.”
