Did Taylor Swift hint that she’s in ‘Deadpool 3’?

Was Taylor Swift confirming a hot rumor by attending the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the New York Jets game Sunday?

Maybe. And no, not that rumor.

While the football and music worlds are in a tizzy about Swift’s possible romance with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, film fans went berserk over something else.

The “Anti-Hero” singer was seen seated with actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, leading some Marvel devotees to speculate that she has been cast in “Deadpool 3,” which hits theaters May 3, 2024.

“She’s with the whole Deadpool 3 team. Taylor Swift as Dazzler seemingly confirmed,” wrote a user on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Reynolds plays the foul-mouthed title character while Jackman will be joining the MCU for the first time as Wolverine, the part that made him famous starting with 2000’s “X-Men.”

Rumors have swirled for months that Swift, 33, will play the part of Dazzler, an X-Men mutant with the power to turn sound into light. After her night out with Jackman and Reynolds, those whispers will become deafening.

“Deadpool” director Shawn Levy, who was also in the suite Sunday night, told Entertainment Weekly in September that there would indeed be surprise celebrity appearances in the movie, but wouldn’t say who just yet.

“The rumors of actors, singers, sports stars who are all apparently in ‘Deadpool 3’ are fabulous,” he said. “If all I read was the internet, I would have the greatest cast ever assembled in the history of cinema, so I’ll simply say that some of those rumors are true, and some of them aren’t.”

Filming of “Deadpool 3” was halted this summer due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

Taylor Swift has appeared in films before, like 2019’s movie-musical “Cats.”

Hollywood wouldn’t be new territory for Swift.

Beyond writing songs for movies such as “Where the Crawdads Sing” and “Hunger Games,” she played a small part in 2022’s “Amsterdam,” opposite Christian Bale, John David Washington and Margot Robbie, sang and danced in Spandex as Bombalurina in “Cats” and appeared as Rosemary in “The Giver.”

The MCU project has already delighted “Deadpool” lovers by bringing back Jennifer Garner as Elektra after a 19-year hiatus from the part that she played in 2003’s “Daredevil” and 2005’s “Elektra.”
