Week 1
“Veep” star Matt Walsh and his partner, Koko Iwasaki, were the first duo to waltz off the show after they received the lowest score from both fans and the judges during the show’s premiere episode on Sept. 26.
Dancing the Cha-Cha to Bell Biv DeVoe’s “Poison,” Walsh and Iwasaki were slammed by Inaba, who claimed the dance “reminded me of old school ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ where we had people who weren’t the best dancers, but they gave us a good time!”
Walsh’s involvement in the show was somewhat up in the air after the comedian briefly left the show to amid the Writer’s Guild of America Strike.
Week 2
She might be a girl, but not quite a dancer.
Jamie Lynn Spears and her partner, Alan Bersten, found themselves heading home on Oct. 3 after their dance to “Shake Senora” by Pitbull featuring T-Pain & Sean Paul failed to rouse the judges.
The “Zoey 102” alum, who scored a 16 out of 30, later thanked her fans on Instagram.
“Yall, I promise I hear and see all the many wonderfully passionate ppl who are not happy with the way things fell tonight, and i appreciate the tremendous amount [of] love and support,” wrote Spears, 32. “This was an amazing experience, and I’m very happy to have been apart of it, and soooo excited to see all the fabulous contestants and their partners continue to KILL it each week!!!!!”
“Alan, you’re the absolute best friend and partner that anyone could ever ask for,” added the “Sweet Magnolias” star.
Season 32 of “Dancing with the Stars” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
