‘Night Court’s’ Bull the Bailiff was 80
Richard Moll, the character actor known for his eccentric but gentle portrayal of bailiff Aristotle Nostradamus “Bull” Shannon on the NBC sitcom “Night Court,” has died.
He was 80.
Moll died peacefully Thursday at his home in Big Bear Lake, California, a family spokesperson told the Associated Press.
The Post has contacted a rep for Moll for comment.
He appeared on “Night Court” from 1984 to 1992 alongside Harry Anderson and John Larroquette. Moll was known for his catchphrase, “Ohh-kay.”
The 6-foot 8-inch tall actor did not partake in the show’s 2023 reboot.
After the show, Moll provided his voice to various video games and comic book projects including “Spider-Man: The Animated Series” and “Batman: The Animated Series.”
He also appeared in horror films “Ghost Shark” and “Slay Belles,” as well as satire films ” “But I’m a Cheerleader” and “Scary Movie 2.”
His other notable credits include “Jingle All the Way” alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, “The Flintstones” in 1994, and “Thomas Kinkade’s Christmas Cottage.”
Moll is survived by his children, Chloe and Mason Moll; ex-wife, Susan Moll; and stepchildren Cassandra Card and Morgan Ostling.
