Until November 28th at 11:59PM PT, you can get a year of ad-supported Hulu for $11.88, which works out to $0.99 a month a savings of $68 compared to buying the $79.99 annual plan. New and returning subscribers (who canceled their Hulu subscription at least a month ago) as well as existing Disney Plus and ESPN Plus standalone subscribers are eligible for the deal.

Max is offering new and returning customers a six-month subscription to its ad-supported plan for $2.99 a month instead of $9.99 a month until November 27th. The base plan provides access to all the same programming as the pricier tiers, including shows like The Last of Us and films like Barbie.

Jabra’s Elite 4 Active are smaller than Jabra’s Elite 3 and offer active noise cancellation and IP57 water resistance.

Amazon’s kid-friendly Paperwhite is the same as the standard Paperwhite, but it’s ad-free and comes with the added benefits of a two-year hardware protection plan, one year of Amazon Kids Plus, and a choice of three kid-friendly covers.

Amazon’s new Kindle Kids is identical to the standard Kindle — meaning it packs a 300ppi display and support for USB-C charging — but comes with a case, an extended two-year warranty, and a year of Amazon Kids Plus.

The second-gen Apple Pencil ditches the awkward Lightning port charging, adopting a magnetic mechanism that attaches to the side of the latest iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad Mini models. It can also recharge while magnetically attached and supports tap gestures.

  • The first-gen Apple Pencil, which is compatible with both the ninth-gen and tenth-gen iPads, is also on sale for $79 ($20) at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. The stylus doesn’t recharge while magnetically attached to the tablet’s side, like the second-gen Apple Pencil. Rather, it needs to be plugged into the iPad’s Lightning port.

The One by Wacom’s charm lies in its simplicity — it’s cheap, well-built, and doesn’t overwhelm new artists with buttons or dials.

The 2023 Fire HD 10 sports a 10.1-inch 1080p display and 3GB of RAM, which is plenty if you’re streaming or browsing. It’s lighter than the last-gen model, too, and comes with support for both the Made for Amazon Stylus Pen and Amazon’s handwriting recognition technology.

  • Amazon’s Alexa-enabled fourth-gen Echo is on sale for $54.99 ($67.99 off) at Amazon and Best Buy, with the former throwing in a free Kasa smart plug.   • Ultimate Ear’s Boom 3 is on sale for $99.99 instead of $149.99 at Amazon and Best Buy. Despite being five years old, the Boom 3 is still our favorite waterproof Bluetooth speaker with stellar sound, easy controls, and battery life that should provide up to 15 hours of playback.
  • You can buy the JBL Flip 6 from Best Buy and JBL for around $189.99 ($30 off). Along with an IP67 water rating, the Bluetooth speaker offers up to 12 hours of battery life.

The best Black Friday smart home deals under $100

The least expensive smart string lights you can buy, Govee’s LEDs are individually addressable, allowing for flashier effects. The colors are bright and bold, but no white chip means the RGB-designated whites are limited. Govee’s lights have built-in music sync and can sync scenes across the company’s wide range of lights, indoors and out.

Philips Hue’s starter kit is a great option for those looking to get started with smart lighting, one comes with two color-changing A19 800-lumen bulbs and a Philips Hue Bridge.

Nanoleaf’s Matter Essentials bulbs work with every smart home platform, as long as you have a Matter controller and Thread border router. They’re brighter, cheap, and have great colors, but they don’t support Apple’s Adaptive Lighting. Read our review.

The 1080p Blink Outdoor 4 security camera offers support for motion detection, night vision, and two-way audio. Unlike the third-gen model, it also now supports person detection and a wider field of view.

  • If you’re looking for a budget-friendly Wi-Fi smart plug that works with all major smart home platforms, you can buy a pair of Meross Smart Wi-Fi Plug Mini (MSS110) plugs for $19.99 ($10 off) at Amazon.
  • Amazon’s Smart Plug is on sale for $12.99 instead of $24.99 at Amazon. The plug integrates well with Alexa-enabled devices and requires little setup required, but be aware it only works with Alexa and indoors.

These are Matter-compatible out of the box and have rich colors and a nice range of cool to warm lights. Each LED is individually addressable, allowing for some fun effects. Nanoleaf’s ecosystem is limited when it comes to outdoor lights, but there are lots of indoor options you can sync scenes across.

Each Blink Mini includes a ball-and-socket mount, a USB-C cable for powering it, and a power adapter. However, note that you’ll need to opt for the optional Blink subscription plan to take advantage of cloud storage and some features.

Amazon’s Smart Air Quality Monitor touts a compact design, voice alerts, and automated triggers that allow it to turn on air purifiers and other Alexa-enabled devices. It lacks a display, however, and pairs best with an Echo device. Read our review.
