I have ‘at best, 10 years left’ to live
The Prince of Darkness thinks might nearly be time for lights out.
Ozzy Osbourne, 74, has been sharing candid y about his declining health lately, telling a reporter he’s “got 10 years left” during a conversation about a recent back surgery that left him “practically crippled.”
“It really knocked me about. The second surgery went drastically wrong,” said the “No More Tears” singer.
Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2003. He received four surgeries on his spine following a bad fall in 2019, he recently told Rolling Stone UK.
“I thought I’d be up and running after the second and third, but with the last one they put a f–king rod in my spine. They found a tumor in one of the vertebrae, so they had to dig all that out, too,” he revealed.
He continued, “It’s pretty rough, man, and my balance is all f–ked up.”
The Post has contacted reps for Osbourne for comment.
The British rock mag honored the Black Sabbath rocker with its Icon Award this week. Osbourne was unable to attend the ceremony, so he sent his longtime wife and manager, Sharon, to accept it on his behald.
In his interview, the “Crazy Train” singer also detailed a disagreement he and, Sharon, 71, recently had over him smoking marijuana amid his declining health.
“‘[Sharon] said, “What are you doing that for! It’ll f—king kill you.’”
“I said, ‘How long do you want me to f–king live for?’” Ozzy apparently shot back.
He continued, “At best, I’ve got 10 years left and when you’re older, time picks up speed. Me and Sharon had our 41st wedding anniversary recently, and that’s just unbelievable to me.”
Sharon recently admitted it was hard for her to see Ozzy this way.
“It’s just been heartbreaking for me to see my husband in a position where he’s not self-sufficient, he needs help. He was so vibrant, with such a zest for life. But you learn to adapt,” she told the Daily Mail.
“I will always be there for my husband. I adore him. I owe him so much. He gave me the best things in my life, my kids.”
The duo married in 1982. They share three kids: Aimee, 40, Kelly, 39, and Jack, 38.
