Kate, William ignore ‘racist’ scandal questions on red carpet

Kate Middleton and Prince William were bombarded by uncomfortable questions when they stepped out on a red carpet Thursday night.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 41, stayed close — showing off rare PDA while holding hands — as they attended the Royal Variety Performance.

Despite smiling for cameras, the pair awkwardly dodged questions about Omid Scobie’s new book, “Endgame.”

The Dutch translation of the biography was quickly yanked from shelves earlier this week, as the edition accidentally shared the names of two members of the royal family who brought up “concerns” over what color skin Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s child would have.

In 2021, Harry and Markle initially divulged to Oprah Winfrey that the Windsor clan commented on how dark their son Archie’s skin would be before he was born.

Piers Morgan then appeared on his eponymous “Uncensored” show Wednesday and named the people in question: King Charles III and Middleton.

On Thursday, a video captured by People reporter Simon Perry showed William and Middleton refusing to answer questions about the scandal.

“Your Royal Highness, have you got a comment about Omid Scobie’s book?” one person yelled as the duo strolled the red carpet.

“Did you watch the Piers Morgan show last night, Your Royal Highnesses?” they also inquired.

But the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kept on going with straight faces and didn’t answer any of the queries.

Earlier that day, Middleton and William also appeared upbeat when they welcomed Swedish royals Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel to Windsor Castle.

In the English edition of the book, Scobie wrote that he was unable to name the members accused by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex due to libel laws.

“I can’t talk about the details,” a spokesperson for the publishing house told the Daily Mail Tuesday.

“We have, however, received a request to put the title on hold, and that is what we have done,” the rep continued. “We are awaiting further instructions. I do not know how long this will be.”

King Charles, meanwhile, also made a public appearance in Dubai on Thursday.

When he reportedly was asked by Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu how he was, he replied: “I’m all right, very much, just about.”

The Post cannot independently confirm the names that were accidentally revealed.
