Prince Harry, Meghan Markle face ‘seismic’ 2024 as Hollywood ‘has had enough’: expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle must “deliver” in 2024 as Hollywood has “probably had enough of them,” according to a royal public relations expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have signed a handful of lucrative deals this year, most of which have caused the ongoing royal rift to widen.

And PR expert Mark Borkowski says that something needs to change for the Sussexes come the new year, as their struggling brand continues to take on water.

“Something is beginning to unwind at the heart of Meghan and Harry,” Borkowski told the Daily Mail.

“I think 2024 is going to be seismic, either because they’re going to do something to recover and find a new positive tactic or it’s going to be the undoing of the brand.”

“It can only go one or two ways. It can’t stay where it is at the moment. Because it’s clearly not working,” he added.

Markle has made “countless appearances” on red carpets this year, but Borkowski warns that the public is growing tired of the same old.

“The story of her being back in play in Hollywood is all about Meghan trying to return to her own turf and being available for work and getting back to Hollywood,” he notes. “But I would suggest they are getting perhaps conveniently left behind by the Hollywood machine, who have probably had enough of them and enough of the negativity.”

“They’re hinting at their big plans ahead, but you know, we’ve heard that all before. So they have to deliver something now,” the expert added.

The Duchess of Sussex signed with William Morris Endeavor (WME) CEO Ari Emanuel and his team in April and has recently teased several “exciting” projects she’s got in the works.

But it’s recently been reported that the agency is having second thoughts as the furor continues to unfold over Omid Scobie’s explosive tell-all biography, “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival.”

The book named the royals who allegedly made a “racist” remark about the Sussexes’ son Archie.

Royal expert Angela Levin claimed that WME is “horrified” about what repercussions Scobie’s book could have for the Sussexes’ rebrand.

“They said they were ‘horrified,’ that can’t just be about the two names that were mentioned, it must be about their client, Meghan,” Levin told GB News earlier this month.

“It seems to me that they will think very carefully what they do next. I have never heard such a well-known agency be clear about how they feel.”

Levin claimed that reigniting the royal race row could have damaging effects on Markle’s Hollywood plans.

“Meghan needs to be very careful. A lot of people have dropped her. The agency has told her to ‘stop moaning,’ because people are ‘getting fed up’ with it,” Levin added.
