“Birmingham City have sacked Wayne Rooney after a disastrous 15-game tenure. The club were sixth in the Championship table when they surprisingly dismissed John Eustace in October, with the club now sat 20th and just six points off the relegation places. Rooney, who had previous stints in charge of Derby County and DC United, oversaw only two wins during his three months in the West Midlands.”
