Jacob Elordi mocks now infamous ‘Saltburn’ grave scene on ‘SNL’
Warning: “Saltburn” spoilers ahead!
Jacob Elordi poked fun at that disturbing “Saltburn” sex scene during his “Saturday Night Live” monologue.
Making his “SNL” debut on Jan. 20, Elordi, 26, told the audience, “So you might know me from ‘Saltburn.’ Not from seeing the film, just from seeing the TikToks, like this scene…”
A quick clip of a butt-naked Barry Keoghan, who portrays Oliver in the black comedy, having sex with the dirt that lies atop Felix’s (Elordi) grave.
“I was the one in the grave,” Elordi clarified Saturday.
He continued, “But if you saw the movie, thank you. If you saw the movie with your parents, I’m sorry. And if you say you the movie with your girlfriend, you’re welcome,” Elordi smiled.
Elordi also alluded to his bashing of “The Kissing Booth” movies during his monologue, with “SNL” cast member Sarah Sherman calling the movies “gross.”
“Two people kissing on the mouth? Blah,” she joked.
Elsewhere in the show, the Aussie actor starred in a sketch depicting Alaska Airlines’ response to its recent flight that experienced a panel blowout mid-flight over Oregon earlier this month.
“Mean Girls” OG Rachel McAdams also made a surprise appearance to introduce musical guest and star of “Mean Girls: The Musical” Reneé Rapp’s “Not My Fault” performance with Megan The Stallion in a seemingly passing the torch moment to the new Regina George actress.
Another “Saltburn” scene involving Elordi in a bathtub has prompted people to sell “Jacob Elordi’s Bathwater”-scented candles.
“Saltburn” is available to stream on Prime Video. Dakota Johnson will host “SNL” on Jan. 27 with musical guest Justin Timberlake.
