Man City sign teenage midfielder Echeverri from River, loan him back until Jan 2025
“Claudio Echeverri has signed for Manchester City until June 2028, although he will stay on loan at River Plate for another year. He only turned 18 on January 2, but has already made six appearances for the Buenos Aires giants, who are managed by former City defender Martin Demichelis. The fee is believed to be an initial £12.5 million, with around £7.5m in add-ons.”
