Blake Lively reacts to Ryan Reynolds’ Super Bowl joke after Taylor Swift suite
Blake Lively has made it back home safely following the 2024 Super Bowl.
The “Gossip Girl” alum, 36, attended the football game with bestie Taylor Swift at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday.
“Honey, I’m home,” Lively joked via her Instagram Stories on Monday, as she stood in front of a TV showing husband Ryan Reynolds’ “Deadpool” movie.
“My day was good. Yours?” she quipped.
The post was in reply to Reynolds’ own social media joke.
The “Just Friends” star, 47, was wondering where his wife was during the game, obviously teasing her as she was often shown on TV sitting with Swift, 34, in their Super Bowl suite.
“Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer? Also has anyone seen my wife?” Reynolds posted Sunday.
The teaser for the third installment of the Marvel antihero franchise dropped during the big game.
A short time later, the Canadian actor shared a photo of Lively’s arm stacked with bracelets that read: “Found my wife.”
For the big game, Lively rocked a red Adidas x Balenciaga tracksuit with a white crop top.
Rapper Ice Spice also joined the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” star and the 14-time Grammy winner in their private box.
The Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the San Francisco 49ers, with the Chiefs winning the game 25-22.
The “Princess Diana” singer, 24, appeared confused during the match, which prompted a medley of hilarious memes to go viral.
“I’m Ice Spice i have genuinely no idea what’s happening,” a user giggled on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“I’m telling my kids this was ‘Inside Out,’” a third person said, referring to the 2015 animated film.
“Ice spice represents the swifties who have no idea what is going on in football,” another fan added.
Someone else laughed over a video of Swift pointing things out to the Bronx native: “Ice spice is just like me (no idea what is going on).”
Reynolds, for his part, often takes pleasure in trolling Lively and the “Cruel Summer” songstress.
In December, the “Green Lantern” actor photoshopped a pic of himself and Swift’s boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, 34, into another photo of the two taken at Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” movie premiere.
“I feel like I should remember this,” he captioned the snapshot. The photo had his face plastered on Lively’s body while Kelce’s face was attached to Swift’s.
The original photo featured the women smiling on a couch while Lively had her hand on Swift’s thigh.
