Prince Harry ‘to take Archie and Lilibet and Archie to visit cancer-stricken King Charles’
Could King Charles soon be spending more time with his grandchildren?
Prince Harry, 39, will likely take Princess Lilibet, 2, and Prince Archie, 4, to meet the sickly monarch in England, one royal expert is asserting.
The king’s shock cancer diagnosis was revealed earlier this month — with the Duke of Sussex jetting to the UK to reunite with his estranged father.
Now, publicist Lynn Carrat believes the health crisis has prompted Harry to have a wake-up call about what is important in his life.
“Since King Charles’ cancer diagnosis and Harry’s quick dash across the pond, I think it has hit home with Harry just how important family is to him,” Carrat told the Mirror “I suspect he’ll want to bring his children, Lilibet and Archie, to the UK to visit their grandad.”
Lilibet was born in the United States and has only purportedly met her grandfather on one occasion.
A PR expert has speculated that the former army man could be heading back home with the kiddies amid his father’s health woes.
Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, currently live in Montecito, Calif with their children.
“Meetings with the King have been sparse and, they don’t have a relationship with their maternal grandfather, so I suspect Harry would like to grow their relationship with King Charles,” Carratt went on.
“And now the kids are a little bit older, I am certain Archie and Lillibet will be making more frequent visits to the UK,” she said.
The publicist added: “There is also hope that their father’s illness will bring Harry and [Prince] William closer together in the future and allow Archie and Lillibet to become closer to [cousins] George, Charlotte and Louis. But this will take time.”
There has been much tension between Harry, his estranged brother William, 41, and the rest of the royal family ever since Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior members of the royal family and moved to North America.
Harry and Meghan have repeatedly trash-talked the royal family, but appear to be changing their tone in the wake of the king’s health crisis.
Harry appeared in an interview with Good Morning America on Thursday where he even revealed that he plans to go to England again sometime soon.
“Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane, go and see him, and spend any time with him — I’m grateful for that,” he admitted.
Harry continued: “I jumped on a plane and went to go see him as soon as I could.
He then stated that he has “other trips planned that would take me to the UK or back to the UK, so I’ll stop in and see my family again.”
