Kate Middleton wants ‘nothing to do’ with Prince Harry amid health recovery: expert
Kate Middleton is keeping calm and carrying on with her post-surgery recovery without any well wishes from Prince Harry.
Royal expert Christopher Anderson claims the ailing Princess of Wales, who underwent planned abdominal surgery in January, and her estranged red-headed brother-in-law have not spoken despite conspiracy theories surrounding Kate’s health.
“I think there was once a relationship, a friendship, a very close one between Harry and Kate,” Anderson told Us Weekly on Wednesday. “I’m sure he’s concerned about her as well, but I know that she wants to have nothing to do with them.”
He added that Middleton, 42, “has her own problems now” and still “feels betrayed” by Harry the same way her husband Prince William, 41, and King Charles do since he and wife Meghan Markle have made less than flattering allegations against the institution since stepping away from the royal family in 2020.
“That hasn’t changed,” Anderson said about the family’s fractured dynamic.
“Every time he’s gone there, he’s been given the cold shoulder and he’s aware of that,” he added about Harry’s visits back to the UK. “I think he fears it’ll just be the same situation all over.”
The “William and Kate: A Royal Love Story” author alleged that the exiled “Spare” writer has not reached out amid Middleton’s health concerns.
“My understanding is he hasn’t, and it is a stalemate,” he said. “They’re both on opposite sides of this wall and nobody has the courage to leap over it and really make an honest attempt.”
Anderson’s claims come after another insider claimed to People on Wednesday that Middleton’s recovery is still surrounded by “radio silence” in Kensington Palace where she is resting, and is expected to return to her public duties after Easter.
After Middleton’s absence from the public prompted rumors, amid the conspiracy theories, in response, Kensington Palace made it clear they would “only be providing significant updates.”
“That guidance stands,” her rep told The Post on Feb. 29, adding that the mother of three is “doing well.”
William’s rep even addressed the public’s concern in a statement to People on Wednesday, which reads, “His focus is on his work and not on social media.”
