Liverpool confirm appointment of 'incredibly proud' Hughes as new sporting director

“Liverpool will have a new sporting director in place for the start of the 2024/25 season with the arrival of Richard Hughes from Bournemouth. The 44-year-old has been technical director of the Cherries since 2016, but will leave that role at the end of the current season.
