Williamson to start first England game in a year against Ireland
“Leah Williamson will play her first game for England in a year when they take on Republic of Ireland in their second Euro 2025 qualifier on Tuesday. Williamson has not played for England since a 2-0 defeat to Australia in April last year. The Arsenal defender missed the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand where England lost in the final, as well as friendly internationals last February.”
